It fit perfectly can't complain

I went on a long run today (16 miles) in these new shoes. It felt like I was running on clouds! SO comfortable. I was going to buy the Ghost 9, until I saw the newer ones. I tried them on and, hands down, these were more cushion and support. I love my new shoes!

I got these as a replacement for my old Asics runners, and am surprised to find that I like them much better. I have narrow feet with a high arch. No excessive pronation. My dress/ street size is 8, and these runners in 9 regular fit me perfectly. It's hard for me to find a runner that fits my narrow foot, and even harder to find one that doesn't feel like it's sliding up and down, or almost off my achilles/back of ankle area. Brooks Ghost is the best shoe I've ever tried as far as staying securely on the back of my foot! It's very padded and the contour at the back of the ankle seems to be made to address this very issue, at least for me. So bye-bye sliding! The front of the shoe fits my narrow feet very well, whereas in most brands, there's so much room that I have to add a thick, padded insole just to fill in the space. The arch support is excellent, too, and I had a great run with them, right out of the box! They are also beautiful (I have black/pink peacock), and light as a feather. On top of all that, they make my feet look smaller! Perfection!
