Lovely colour, but I would not call it navy, it is lighter than that, but a very attractive shade, friends have commented on the colour already, and I have only had them a week. They almost looked royal blue, wearing them today walking in the sun.
I have been buying Skechers in the States for 10 years or more and wear them daily with jeans, or for walking anywhere. They are far more attractive than ordinary trainers and I can get away with wearing them most of the time because of their attractive neatness of shape.

I always bought US size 7.5, UK size 4.5 when I lived over there. In the last couple of years since my return they have started to wear, and I wanted to replace them. I searched the web and could not find Skechers in half sizes. In desperation I asked my Florida neighbours to bring me 2 pairs in size US 4.5 when they came to visit this spring. Perfect fit. I saw this summer that Skechers were available in navy in UK, which is so very handy for jeans; but no half sizes. I wrote to Skechers in California to ask why oh why are half sizes like gold dust in UK. I received a very non committal and patronizing letter in return.

I thought that as they are advertised so much on the UK websites, a 5 would fit me, as no half sizes were available. The size 5 is a bit more roomier in the toe area, but otherwise they are fine around the heel and great in the width area, - I do not have narrow feet. Realistically I would say the 5 fits size 5 feet and size 5 and half feet. If they get bigger with wear, which does not happen with Skechers, I will wear a thicker sock. My US Skechers are just over half an inch smaller than size 5 (all in the toe area) so my advice would be if you are a half size, go down to the next whole size. My latest Skechers were made in Vietnam to American specifications so maybe that is where the discrepancy occurs.
